Import from Koinly — close in Lawenots

Crypto tax software calculates gains. Lawenots closes mixed-asset books. Export from Koinly, CoinTracker, or ZenLedger — ingest lots and disposals — then lock the period and hand your CPA a verifiable package.

1. Export from your tax engine

Download CSV from Koinly, CoinTracker, ZenLedger, or a generic Form 8949 / 1099-DA report.

2. Import into Lawenots

Guided wizard maps lots, disposals, staking/airdrop income, and 1099-DA proceeds into the investment sub-ledger.

3. Reconcile & close

1099-DA proceeds are compared to disposal proceeds. Unmatched amounts block period lock when crypto-tax data is present.

4. Attest for your CPA

Optional Close + Attest package with a public verify link — books stay the system of record.

What Path A covers

CSV / report ingest

8949-style disposals and complete tax report rows into the investment sub-ledger.

Lot snapshot import

Open lots and cost basis as of period start — without replaying full chain history.

Disposal journal bridge

Map vendor disposals to lot relief and optional cash / investments / gain-loss journals.

Income classification

Staking, airdrops, and rewards as income events with carry-forward basis lots.

1099-DA reconcile assist

Compare exchange 1099-DA proceeds to books/Koinly disposals before lock.

Vendor-agnostic adapter

One schema for Koinly, CoinTracker, ZenLedger, and generic CSVs — same Close Graph gates.
