1. What Lawenots is
Lawenots provides bookkeeping software for operators and firms, and optional done-for-you bookkeeping engagements. The product helps you connect accounts, categorize activity, reconcile periods, and export statements and schedules for your records and your CPA.
2. Software vs hire
Self-serve subscriptions give you access to the books workspace. Hire engagements mean Lawenots personnel may enter, reconcile, and close books on your behalf under the terms of that engagement. In both cases, you remain responsible for the accuracy of source documents you provide and for decisions about filings, entity structure, and tax positions.
3. Exports and attestations
Statements, tax schedules, readiness scores, and optional Close + Attest packages are tools for your records and handoff to your accountant or auditor. Cryptographic attestation (where enabled) proves integrity of an export package — it is not a legal opinion, tax opinion, or audit report.
4. Not tax, legal, or investment advice
Lawenots is bookkeeping software and optional done-for-you bookkeeping. It does not replace a licensed CPA, enrolled agent, or attorney. Nothing on this site is tax, legal, or investment advice.
Lawenots does not offer investment advice and is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. Any monitoring or research features that may exist elsewhere in the platform are informational only and do not create an adviser–client relationship.
