Product glossary

Lawenots uses "sovereign" in several distinct ways. This page disambiguates category positioning, product modules, and deployment modes so buyers do not conflate them.

Business books & allocation intelligence
Lawenots category line: close-native business books are primary; mixed-asset allocation monitoring is a self-serve add-on. You retain custody; Lawenots provides hosted software, exports, and optional evidence packages.
Sovereign View
A workspace module that consolidates net worth across portfolio and business books — read-only aggregation, not a separate deploy mode. Available with allocation self-serve tiers.
Sovereign vault
An optional Docker Compose deployment where exchange credentials stay on your infrastructure (local Postgres vault). Distinct from Sovereign View and from default cloud workbook hosting — not required for books or tax exports.
Close + Attest
Premium books tier coupling the Close Graph evidence package to settlement anchor GL posting and portal daily Merkle-root attestation — marketed as attestation, not custody. Evidence packages can be verified offline with MIT tooling published under the Lawenots GitHub org.
Close Graph
Lawenots' close model: every close input becomes a weighted node with a state (open, matched, settled, attested, carried-forward). Readiness is the deterministic rollup of node states; the evidence package is a serialized period subgraph.
Lawenots Verify
Close-blocker classifier and #2 product surface: import QuickBooks, Xero, or CSV (or run against native books), surface readiness blockers, and produce a hashed readiness report. Firm/CPA mode reviews client books without ownership. Import is the funnel; Close Graph is the destination.
Open verification
Selective transparency: Lawenots publishes verification tooling for Close + Attest so operators, firms, and auditors can independently validate evidence packages without a Lawenots account. Repos: attestation-verify, schemas, and openapi. Product scoring and allocation logic remain proprietary.
Labs
Lower-commitment zone for private-beta and methodology-preview experiments (e.g. Flywheel). Labs work is not part of the primary Books and Allocation catalog until it earns a place there.
Flywheel
A Labs private-beta compounding framework (base positions, income containers, swing layer, R/R gates). Methodology preview only — not a GTM product or catalog SKU. Lawenots does not issue credit. Tool only — not investment advice.
Books–agent bridge
Links vendor records in books to agent compute governance (spend caps, vendor entity registry) so operating spend and governed agent workloads share an audit trail.
